Curated by David Miranda, "Misrepresented" is a platform for contemporary art that proposes new ways of production, dissemination and collecting, with an emphasis on artists with a long trajectory, whose extensive production of work, as well as their language, is outside the dominant narratives of the conventional art circuits.

The first edition, entitled Landscapes, will be held from February 1 to 13, 2025 with a selection of artists who have previously worked with this theme. The exhibition explores multiple notions of landscape, highlighting its conceptual, visual and material variations, using as a starting point one of the most classic genres in the history of art.

Participating artists include Avelino Hernández, Marcela Rico, Guillermo Rosas, Goethe David Pontón, Enrique Minjares Padilla, Diego Berruecos, Yolanda Paulsen and Sandra Valenzuela, who approach landscape from original and provocative perspectives. The Landscapes exhibition goes beyond the traditional representation of landscape, exploring its capacity to dialogue with emotions, memory and imagination. From works that reinterpret nature to those that move the landscape into the digital or conceptual realm, Misrepresented challenges the viewer to reconsider his or her relationship with this artistic genre.

DuDuring this time, Misrepresented will have a gastronomic pop up by FUGAZ.
