Irina Studio

Irina is an architect by the Universidad Autónoma de México, ceramist and cultural manager. She has coordinated and developed projects such as "Pintemos México", Infonavit's social cohesion and urban art program and "#MB10" to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Metrobus.

In 2016, she founded Irina Estudio, a ceramic and architecture workshop that produces sculptural and utilitarian pieces and dwells inside the house at General Prim 30 in Colonia Juárez, one of Proyectos Públicos' precincts. Irina's work has been exhibited in museums such as MARCO in Monterrey, Museo Amparo in Puebla and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark.

Irina is part of QUEMA, a project in conjunction with curator Ana Castellá, which responds to the curiosity of carrying out a collective exercise with national and international artists, resulting in a series of limited edition plates and sculptures. QUEMA has been exhibited at the Aparador EDA and currently at the cultural precinct Lago Algo of the OMR gallery.
